Coffee choices

I always like when you see a description or picture of the coffee options in a coffee shop.

I still find it very strange that a flat white here in the UK is totally different from the Aussie version we were used to. In Australia the flat white comes in any size, here it’s only a 6oz (small). The milk is also different. In the UK (as shown on the board here) it’s just steamed milk. The Aussies do ‘micro foam’. As in most cases with coffee the Aussies do it better so I tend to stick with lattes here. One day I’ll sample those delicious original* flat whites again maybe.

*contentious who invented the flat white. Australia or New Zealand. A common theme which also include the disputed pavlova.
