Let Us Give Thanks

Sunny but chilly early and late, warmer mid day; typical Thanksgiving weather. Hubby picked up my mother so we could get to 9:00 am Mass. We took her to my youngest daughter’s so she could “help” prepare the meal. Her job was the oysters. I packed, hubby worked on freezing his financial accounts since he has lost his wallet. It probably fell off the truck bed after he left the gas pumps yesterday. Bummer. As you can see, we had quite a feast. My daughter’s coworker, her family, BIL and his family from Ohio joined us. We got to meet Skylar’s current crush as well. I was banned from the kitchen. Kim and the kids came by to snag some turkey stuffing so I got a quick shot of the five grands who were here. Mack led the Thanksgiving prayers before meals and then the feeding frenzy began. It’s time to clean the kitchen, oh fun. Then the desserts will be served. I sure hope you each had a wonderful day whether celebrating Thanksgiving in the U.S. or having just a regular week day. My daughter and her family know how to have fun, enjoy life and especially make all their guests feel welcome. Thanks for stopping by. “O, give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1
