The beautiful Waikato

Today we went for a drive through the beautiful lush green Waikato farmland between Rukuhia and Lake Karapiro  where Dr D parked the vehicle  by the hydro lake and then beetled off on his E bike for a 30 minute ride along the Waikato River bank. A stunning day and my goodness, the farmland looks wonderful at present, lots of hay being cut, teddered, baled etc and the stock looking great.
A great escape for the slightly cabin-fevered ; ))
