Cherry tree is known among others by it's flowers
This translation of a Japanese phrase well describes the pre-eminenece given by the Japanese to cherry blossoms. it is also a metaphor to describe someone who stands out from others.
Back to work today - and our cherry trees are stunning. Hope you've all had a tremendous Monday? The pic really does remind me of posies, it also looks a lot better large :)
Come live with me and be my love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That valleys, groves, hills, and fields,
Woods, or steepy mountain yields.
And we will sit upon the rocks,
Seeing shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
And I will make thee beds of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies
