Happy Easter!

In my experience Easter day is almost always sunny and full of light - hope for the spring perhaps!

Friends and brother came to lunch to eat roast lamb followed by homemade Viennese cheesecake and of course the traditional various forms of chocolate were exchanged.

The weather bodes well and T continued cultivating the fields ready for the contractor tomorrow who is coming to sow some corn! At last, we may have some harvest yet and straw for bedding during the winter!!

We have all been appalled at the fire which has swept through the farm of a local pedigree pig breeder. 900 animals died in the flames. The police are now looking into the matter as it may have been started by an arsonist.
