This Little Piggy!

A farm house about 5 miles from us opens up part of the house every quarter and does 'Farmhouse Breakfast' and a farm yard walk. Today was our first time.

The breakfast was gorgeous.

There were the normal farm yard animal chickens / cows / pigs / sheep but then the cute things.... Lambs born this morning and two week old piglets.

Lambs so very very cute with protective Mum but the highlight for me were the piglets....so many of them running around, one even sat on my boot! I have taken over 100 photo's of the piglets - ADORABLE!
The Farmer was charming and seemed very excited to be showing people around his genuine working farm and making people go see the 'sextuplets'.....his 1st of April joke!! All donations to see the animals were going to a local hospice.

Lovely couple of hours out but nice now to be home in the warm..its so cold. -7 with the wind chill!!
