Clive met me after work and we went to have a look at the restoration progress of the old Palace cinema. 

Before lockdown it was a bingo hall downstairs and a cinema upstairs. 

All the hidden art deco glory is being revealed and, come spring 2022, this town will have a beautiful 400 seat theatre cum cinema. 

We watched the Lantern parade and enjoyed the Christmas lights then met Rob, Bernie, Matt and Jo for a few drinks.
