Cooried against Arwen!

On the edge of the storm here but wild enough…with the old pine and the younger, now leaf-free birches taking the brunt. Nice then to have the stove on, burning our own dried cones, windfall and rosemary wood, watching the flames and enjoying the heat as the cold wind rages. Given how warm the house usually is, it’s normally only on 5-10 times in the autumn-spring span. This, number 2!
