(329) TARDIS

The Cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool is the fifth largest cathedral in the world and is the fourth tallest structure in the city of Liverpool. The central tower is open to the public and is accessed by means of two lifts and a final set of 108 steps which lead to the viewing platform at the top. The stairways pass through the vast ringing chamber at the bottom of which sit the the highest and heaviest peal of bells in the world.
The view looking over the concrete wall and into the void is quite something and somehow had a very sci-fi feel to it.

The extras are views of the ascent and descent through the ringing chamber.

Information about the bells and cathedral can be found here
