It’s Time

As is traditional in our home, the Christmas decorations went up today with one exception. The tree is up and has lights, but we will wait to put on the ornaments until oldest is home. Yesterday was our first big holiday without him. He celebrated Thanksgiving with my parents and sister and her family. It was a rough day for him, so he went to his room and talked to me on the phone for a couple of hours. It just wasn’t the same not being together. We have so much to be thankful for, so it is best we concentrate on that. So thankful he did have familiar treats and my parents to love on him. So thankful we had great friends to celebrate with. We are well, and truly blessed by a loving God who gives wonderful gifts to His children.
