Weird bug!

I have no idea where to even start looking with this guy! Maybe a cicada?? Initially he has his wings out so I raced to grab the camera and by the time I got back he was upside down, flapping about and not happy.

I righted him but he refused to spread his wings again. I actually think maybe he was on his way out :( as he didn't try to fly away at all. Morally feeling bad about blipping a bug potentially near the end of its life... (I know, a little crazy) but I've got nothing else today!
