Rumi

A good day in the room and in the evening I went to the Coliseum to meet Waleed and Joana to see the Rumi the Musical.  I couldn’t quite decode it, it was a Broadway style musical, all in English about the life of the 13th Century Persian poet Rumi.   It written by a young Qatari heiress and the cast were British. The singing and dancing were strong but the whole experience was a bit of a misfire.  It went on quite late so we parted at the end and I went back to High Road House for a dinner of a bottle of IPA from the mini bar.
