Flower Friday

An awful start to the day weather wise.  Very windy and it then started to rain. Just before 10am it brightened up so I went off down the village to the Tittle Tattle Teashop, and I was the first to arrive.  After another 15 minutes or so more people began to drift in, and then the skies darkened again.  Luckily when I left just after noon it was dry again.  There were still droplets on the Skimmia leaves in the garden, so made that plant my blip for Flower Friday.   Early evening the gale force winds gained strength and as I am at the top of the village we have been taking quite a battering.  That has continued during the early hours, and now we also have snow and it is freezing!
