Bread Queue

Another early walk to the farmers’ market to beat the check-in queue, followed by a stroll to the council’s recycling depot to drop off unwanted electronics and cleaning products. The depot was in Alexandria’s industrial area, a mix of business parks and vacant land slated for redevelopment. It was pleasing to hear frogs in the swampy wasteland adjacent to the M8 approach, then to see a white-faced heron take off. 

A quiet night with a bit of Netflix awaits.
