Wrap up warm

We woke up to a dusting of snow.  You can probably see that there is almost nothing in the valley, it's just hit the hillside.

There isn't really a community up here, the houses are too spread apart, so it's been a struggle to meet people.  But tonight we have been invited to a party in a house along the lane, the first time we have been in a "neighbour's" house in the 5 years we have been here!  They lived in the US for many years, so I think this is a Thanksgiving celebration, and we have been warned to wrap up well for the fireworks!
