Unexpected visitor

What a day!

We woke up to the news of the UK closing borders to us, yet again.

Sue’s son and fiance were due to arrive on Sunday, and her niece and her partner later in the month. Now all cancelled.

Arnie got to the Joburg Open before the heavens opened, ticket courtest of young Gav’s mate Scott who is caddying at the Open. He was told first thing he had to get out this morning. That changed when the the midday deadline was imposed. Checked out of his hotel, and somewhat discombobulated he still had to focus on his responsibilities to Lacroix in horrible weather, and no idea what was going to happen next.

So quick chat to Gav and hotel Arnies became his new home until he has plans in place.

Great evening with a lovely young man.
