Gardening in a Gale

It's autumn, and the bendimen
have rolled up their sleeves:
they're busy in the garden
raking up the leaves.

One and then the other
takes a turn to rake,
but jumping in the leafy pile
might be a mistake!

The gales continue at around 67mph. They woke us a few times in the night, but we're looking out at glorious sunshine. Bitterly cold outside, mind you! Pleased I managed to photograph the bendimen without the leaves spreading everywhere again.

Looking forward to Strictly again tonight, though I imagine we can all guess who will end up, deservedly, in the final. Can't remember a year when the dancing has been so good consistently from Day 1.
