Sunset Already?

A sunny afternoon followed a drizzly morning, but it was cold out there. And the days are getting very short now.

The first case of the Omicron variant has been diagnosed in our area today. I can’t imagine the Christmas markets to stay open for much longer. Hospitals are already full with Covid-19 patients.

Time to distance ourselves from the world again…

As the cats made sure I didn't sleep more than five hours last night, I was quite tired and did very little today. I started one of the books I got for my birthday ("The Once and Future Witches" by Alix E. Harrow).

So far, it feels like just the right kind of story for dark, cold winter weekends.
