Christmas Fair

Having read about it in Sally Mair's journal we decided to visit the Christmas Fair at Davidson's Mains and maybe pick up a gift or two.
On a crisp, dry day following a night of high winds it was a relief to see the tents all standing over their stalls and the families all enjoying the atmosphere. 
We found the event well-organised, with large, clear map of the extra stalls in front gardens, which we followed to grab a coffee before returning to the car.
Evidence of the recent weather conditions lay along the pavements, with leaves piled up, just perfect for kicking up... though we left them for the children. Instead, we drove round to Sainsbury's for our shopping.
