The calm (!) after the storm.

Well it was still cold and windy but not as bad as this morning. Expect there’s more to come.

Brought down a dead elm which blocked the track down to J & A’s and they said that I could have the wood. Always good to get old dead elm as it burns so well and doesn’t need seasoning. Had to ensure that the back of the LR was suitably covered as I cleaned it properly. Wood all unloaded and car still clean - result!
