Palm Springs mountains.

If you have never been to Palm Springs, you might visualize some desert, and celebrities on golf courses. But PS is the western end of the Coachella Valley, an east/west valley surrounded by mountains, some of the taller ones in CA including 13000ft San Jacinto. Here is a viewpoint of the mid valley, that's the road up in the front, and extra folder has local houses by the mountains.
