Snow

Last night there was a gale blowing and sleet. I could hear the wind blowing through the night. This morning we had no snow lying in the village but I heard about the wide-scale disruption to transport, especially the routes into Scotland. 

As we went to Amber Nook Blencathra had a nice covering of snow but by early afternoon there was very little left. Icy cold here and still blowing a gale. I got out of the car but only took 4 shots.
