Flower shop window in Glastonbury

Today we drove down to Glastonbury so that we can visit MiL .The journey started slowly as the first thing we came across was a police car and when we passed it there was an enormous tree crashed across the road on top of a very badly damaged car. 100 yards down the road there was a massive tree which had been across the road and was half shredded into a mountain 100 yards long. That meant we had to drive on the wrong side of the road onto the roundabout, then, the road we wanted to take was blocked by another tree! On the way to the motorway there were several more trees down including in one short road 3 trees which had been uprooted and had crashed onto house roofs! Luckily we made it safely! MiL was in good form which was lovely.
