Silly Saturday: Playing Fetch in a Snowstorm!

Happily we survived Storm Arwen overnight with only a lot of small twigs blown off the trees in the garden, and slight damage to an old outdoor table which got blown over.

But were we silly to take our granddog out in a snowstorm this morning? Well probably, yes. However it was necessary for 2 reasons: firstly she has so much energy that she needs to run it off or she goes totally manic, and secondly we're going to be looking after her for 3 weeks over Christmas as Son#1 and his wife are off to Ontario to visit family so we need to get her used to us.

I chose this rather arty-farty shot as my main blip as I feel it represents the ferocity of the wind and the snow along with the way she totally ignored it and got on with chasing her ball. The extra is a more conventional photo - again with her ball.
