Storm Arwen
Plan A was to drive to Gloucestershire for the British Night orienteering championships, but Storm Arwen had other ideas. There were so many fallen trees on our road that with all of us in the hamlet, and the farmer with his tractor and a mate with a chain saw and a passing tree surgeon, we could not get out by car until 4 in the afternoon. No chance of getting to Gloucestershire . With the power still off, it went off at 8pm last night , we have decamped to friends in Sedbergh for the night. Blip is son R with a saw in the middle of one of the very many fallen trees. You can just make out the white line on the road.
