Just one or two seagulls
Kent & I waited until the worst of the cold was over, but it was still in the low 40’s with a strong wind to ensure you got chilled right through! The wildlife as a whole were being smart and staying “home”, so not much for us to see.
It was still an enjoyable morning with lots of sunshine and trees in their fall colours. Saw a couple of kingfishers, lots of cormorants as well as lots of killdeer. We even saw a 4 to 5ft alligator, although it was more of a dark blur and what we distinctly saw was the splash!
There was one area that must have been the favourite seagull hangout (see extra) and the stupid birds don’t make any move to get out the way until you are right on top of them and so it is like you hit a wall of birds.
Got all the Thanksgiving decorations packed up this afternoon and they are ready to go up the attic and ready to start getting Christmas down from there. It’s that time of year again!
