Icing sugar!

We went to Newcastle this morning for a walk along the promenade and a coffee in Nikki's Kitchen.  Such a bright and sunny day, but very cold - the Mournes had their first dusting of snow, it looked as if someone had dusted the tops with icing sugar.
We have a friend staying with us for a few days, so while N. went to the football, C. and I had a walk on the beach at Ballyhornan.
We finished the day with dinner at the Smugglers Table, excellent as ever, we remain very appreciative of having such a fabulous restaurant within walking distance.
