So cold today.

And windy. The trees out the back - the ones that are left are making a constant roaring sound.  I dropped in a birthday card to a neighbour - and ran back to get out of the cold again:)
But I did need to get a blip - and thought my own garden would be the best answer.  There’s still a few flowers but this little viola was the best, just a little curled up at the top.  And I actually sat down on the cold stone to take this! 
I stayed indoors cooking and baking - making some meals to put in the freezer, and also some little apple cakes with the last few apples from my tree. Went round for a while to some friends early evening, and took the apple cakes.  Otherwise I’d have eaten them all.
