HUH?!?

Penrith lucky again? I'm hearing of the damage by Storm Arwen and that there's a LOT of damage in Cumbria, and, nationally 1,000s of houses without Power.  
Oddly - over Friday/Saturday I heard "The wind that blew the taties up." but this didn't happen fortunately.  It did, however, blow the Wheelie-Bin over; not to be spotted until this a.m. Must have another venture forth to see ?˚C and if the rain gauge is full of Snow.

Overnight, and now I've heard/seen very little evidence of Arwen; maybe we're in a Storm Shadow as well as a rain shadow.
