Christmas cactus and Christmas tree
Today is a beautiful 30 degree day. Gone is the gloom of yesterday. Although yesterday Dan and I traipsed around and spotted the tree we wanted to cut down to bring inside. The nice thing about cutting a tree that will be opening up the area for the trees that are left is that we can cut a fairly tall tree and "top" it. That is a big no no when out in the National forest in Wyoming when cutting trees. But on our property it is okay even though I still feel a little bad about doing it. Today it took just about 30 minutes to walk to it, cut it and bring it inside. All this to explain one of the extras. My main picture is my fabulous pale pink Christmas cactus.
