I missed out on one of my Mum's (and these days Dad's) roast dinners today due to my silly cold, which had me up coughing and spluttering half the night as well. Never mind, I'm sure the rest of the family will have made sure nothing went to waste. Meanwhile I've been reclining on the sofa with Basil and Polly dozing through various TV programmes.
