The first Sunday of Advent 

What with everything that has gone/is going on here, Advent has crept up on me, so this morning I hunted around the house and garden and threw together an Advent Crown (forgot I’d previously set the camera on low resolution).

A bright morning, a damp afternoon and cold again at 5 degrees. So the fire is now lit, I’m watching the Advent service from Ely Cathedral, the first Yule Log of the season has been cut, the first Twiglets of the season have been opened, and there are mince pies!
