The first Sunday in Advent

Christmas is getting nearer!  
A funny old day: it started with that beautiful light first thing (Top left) but it didn't last long!  Soon it was snowing! (bottom right - Mahonia?) A very rare occurrence before Christmas!

Ro and I spent a good part of the day recovering the kitchen chairs.  Changing them from the animals to the cut fruit. three done out of four.

We couldn't go out today we are isolating!  Son and DIL brought back the Omicron strain of the virus and at the moment anyone in contact with anyone with that virus has to isolate.  Back to how it was at the beginning with the Delta variant.  Tomorrow we will get another test brought by courier to see if we are positive and if so they will sequence it.  Their symptoms continue to be mild and their Christmas tree is up!  We just put up the advent wreath and lit one candle!.
