B*******g Covid

Today was mostly about Mr B’s TV.

First we met ‘E’ for coffee in the Lower Gardens. Our new go-to as relatively Covid friendly (canopied, heated, with sides open to the fresh air). See blip.

Then E kindly drove us to Curry’s as decided to replace the old fixed TV wall fitting with a ‘Tilt and Turn’ one. Nightmare parking at the Mallard Retail Park, not helped by Black Friday?

So happy to have sorted as installer WAS due tomorrow. We’d collected the TV yesterday. And every other tilt & turn fitting was only available for delivery within a couple of days, even through Amazon.

Guess what, received a message from the installer this evening “Hello, T…. has tested positive for the Corona Virus and unfortunately will not be able to visit you on Monday. Please accept our apologies”.

So have just spent the evening messaging high rated local TV fitters in the hope can be done this week. Don’t hold out much hope with Xmas looming.
