On guard

Not a pretty face, but I’m sure someone loved him.

The animal is fixed to the post by his feet and has been there for at least 5 years. He has lost his left arm and is grotty. 

It was -1 degree this morning and +1 when we went for our walk this afternoon, but because the winds had dropped it didn’t feel anything like as cold as yesterday.
