Snow on geraniums, ivy, sycamore, rose hip with a spider web, holly.  
The snow this morning looked beautiful before it partially melted and this evening it sparkles in the hard frost.  S saw our neighbours returning from their fortnight holiday having to walk up the road with heavy cases because their taxi was unable to negotiate the slope and tomorrow morning no doubt drivers will be very wary on the ice.  The snow looks picturesque but does bring major problems to those having to travel or being marooned in snow or perhaps lacking power and water due to the storm.  Meanwhile the children are very happy to have the time to go sledging.
