An Interlude.....

Our morning at FBC was a little different than usual.  During the first hour, when we usually are in our separate classes, all of the adult classes were invited to hear a presentation by Sara Hamilton Barugahare on Rafiki Africa Ministries in Uganda.  Sara grew up in our church and got her nursing degree, but, then,  God called her to open an orphanage in Uganda and Rafiki Ministries has grown from there.  People in our church support her work in any way they can and we always enjoy hearing what God has done through Rafiki.  After the inspiring presentation, we all joined our voices and hearts in worship and praise in the worship center and I was back up in the choir, so there are no pictures. Pastor Wes spoke to us from Psalm 105 about how God is faithful to fulfill His covenant with His people.  You can see the various ways that Pastor Wes noted God's faithfulness to us in the collage, but you should go watch the live stream to get the full impact of the sermon.  We will return to the study in Philippians next week.....
