Misty Mountain Morning

Snapped this morning mountain pic as we were gassing up to hit the road in Charleston West Virginia this morning.  Yesterday as we were driving the check engine light came on in the car.  This morning the car stalled twice before we got to the gas station.  It seemed to be driving ok as we headed to the highway but on the on ramp I could not get it to accelerate. It just kept sputtering and threatening to stall.  We were driving on the side of the highway talking on the phone to out friends in the car behind us, thinking we might have to limp it off the road at the first exit when all of a sudden it took off.  We told out friends to keep up and off we went.  We decided to drive as far as we could and to not turn the car off if we had to pit stop.  When we finally stopped for lunch in Toledo, we decided if we had trouble there we could leave it for repair and come back.  As it turns out, everything went well and we made it all the way home! Since I'm back blipping I can report that when we finally got it into the dealership it turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor.

Luckily I had a couple of camera shots early today.  With the concern over the way the car was behaving it wasn't a very photo rich day.
