Happy Easter

Easter Photo. Tomorrow John and Nancy will leave for their home in Iowa. They stayed here in Arizona for three months away from the rains and snows of the Midwest.

Easter Dinner was prepared by Chef Robert at MountainView. Packed as a carryout, it consisted of Prime Rib, Rum-Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon with sides of Honey Glazed Carrots, Twice Whipped Potatoes, Mediterranean Couscous Salad, Virginia Baked Ham, Polish Kielbasa, Buttermilk Biscuits and Carrot Cake. To add a touch of elegance it was served with our Antique China and Sterling Silver.

When we were kids Nancy and I lived across the alley from one another while our Dads were coaching at Ohio Northern University. In 1936 Nancy's Dad, Harris, coached a football team that was Undefeated and Unscored Upon. The only blemish in that record was a 0-0 tie with University of Michigan.
