Grey Heron

It was very cold today when I went up to the loch. I was really surprised to see that the loch was frozen over! There were a lot of council contractors waiting to start a job and the young one was standing on a drainage access point at the edge of the loch. When I got over to her she jumped down but was having great difficulty walking on the ice. I gave her, her fish and she ate the lot! I think I will give her an extra fillet whist the loch is frozen as she will have difficulty feeding.
