WILL THE SPRING STAY?
A big question since this morning the sun was out and warmed us. Helas, we had to drive to The Hague. No trains today, because the car has to be checked in The Hague.
Five hours driving, all went well and a lovely spring afternoon awaited us.
I walked to the Ockenburgh park, Piet Hein preferred to say hello to the North Sea and Mischa, happily stayed at the balcony of her apartment enjoying the sun.
Not so good, no very sad news we heard from the son of our neighbour. Her condition that was for a long time not good has deteriorated and we feel so sorry for her.
On my walk I looked up at the trees, around me, smelling the spring and left the hills and forest of the Weser Uplands for some time behind me.
So many sounds, familiar, but not heard for two weeks, I let it descend in my soul.
The city parrots cried loudly and I spotted the one that became my blip in the tree waiting for me (?).
My haiku:
Feel, smell, smile and enjoy
I am not young but who cares
All my senses still alive
And the russian proverb:
He/she who loves to laugh has teeth that are white.
