Ivy House,

Drove up from bishops castle today, mostly cross country at the start then motorway from m53, m54 and m6 until the A66 across to Braithwaite HPB! Staying in the hotel for one night originally but I was phoned this morning to say that Tigh Mor in the Trossachs is without power so they are not accepting anyone tomorrow so they have reserved another night for me here in the hopes that I can go up on Wednesday. Will have to change room but not a bad place to be! Lots of snow covered trees and fields on the way up but the temperature when I got here was +4C but that will probably go down overnight! Thankfully arrived in one piece. Now need a walk or to do some Pilates!
