Is it a bird...a plane

no it is a sock. My first attempt at knitting socks. The wool is greener than I expected and the shape is correct although as usual I have made many small mistakes which give it character. It also looks quite big!
A day of driving in the rain in the dark and staring at the computer from my Oban office.
