Pick Up

I had the day off work so didn’t mind driving into Embra to get Joe after he finished at college. Since he left the halls of residence he’s been splitting his time between his girlfriend’s place and a camp bed in the living room at the flat. Ruby made a delicious dinner to warm us up when we got home.

Earlier, Mrs S took her car in for its MOT, we did a supermarket sweep to replace all the food that went off when we had the power cut and we put the recycling out. It’s what days off are all about.
