Winds from the West

And last night from the SouthWest bringing in Lybian temps  midnight 30C was registered here in Chania.
Today the temps lowered down to a mild 23C and the winds became stronger and came just from the West. On mainland Greece it rained alright; Crete remained without a drop for another day... it's rained far too little here this year.

My walk of today took me up to Chaleppa, a suburb of Chania to the East and these buildings once housed the tannery industry and was a No-Go area when I lived in town; now it's all restaured and hopes to become a YUP area. In the backdrop a shoreline of Chania town.

Thank you all lots for your reactions upon my yesterblip of the festive lights in the masts of the sailing boats; much appreciated!
