Fowl Play

Today is known as Cyber Monday, the first Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday, but we decided to step out after breakfast to purchase a few stocking stuffers in real-time and in-person! We’re so old school, lol! • After a few hours we returned home to find a lone wild turkey among the lilac trees eating seed leftovers, with Newt a mere eight feet away huddled up against the front door, watching the big bird’s every move. As soon as our car’s tires hit the driveway the turkey took off running, right in front of the car, then down the banking into the gully. That’s when Newt gave us the disgusted “Where have you two been? You’re late” look • Egad, tomorrow is the last day of November! • I thought you’d enjoy a very coy Mr. Cardinal peeking through the Burning Bush :)
