Smokey waters

I had just had a brief and close encounter with herons before I took this shot, early this morning. A magical mysterious moment as the smokey wisps lifted. It was significantly colder this morning and I had wrapped myself up accordingly. A few minutes later a buzzard soared over my head as it flew off from a tree branch. A nice start to my day.
