Shiv

It never fails to amaze me how perceptive animals are when things are not right. Shiv can be quite an aloof soul, preferring to be in her basket than sitting with us. But since I had my accident she has been by my side whenever possible, either just touching or offering a paw. There is a funny swelling on the right hand side of my belly so I am heading to the docs in the morning to get it checked out.

My car is, as we expected, a write-off, so I spent part of this evening putting together what seemed a ridiculous amount of paperwork but hopefully they will now just settle the claim and a search for a replacement can begin. I can’t say I am looking forward to that, I loved my wee runaround.
