Matchbox

You may remember the Matchbox toy cars from when you were young. The factory where they were manufactured is now the big block of apartments you can see down the canal. Manufacturing turned to housing. 

When I first started cycling along this towpath it was still just about standing as a factory. A beautiful crisp morning on the canal today and the single sculler is getting the best of the day. Cold but crisp. 

Such a shame all my toy cars were chucked out when I left home! Never mind, it gives me a purpose looking round jumble sales…
