College Bands

I went into college today to watch four end of term performances, it was really impressive and great to see them all, they’ve all worked really really hard. They have such amazing facilities at their fingertips, I do hope they appreciate it. As parents and family weren’t allowed to come because of the pandemic they did their show in the TV studio, they had three cameras filming them and the other students made up the audience, it was great.
I would say the main area for development is the singers need to introduce the band and the songs and speak between songs, general performance techniques like getting the audience involved in the performance by clapping along or singing… I don’t know why this hasn’t been prioritised as an actual lesson considering it’s a Performance course?
Perhaps someone needs to give them a masterclass…

Max made delicious curry, Zebedee‘s friend Georgina came over with her new boyfriend also called Max and also Natalia is here, they had a fire in the garden. Gulli and I watched Paddington, it’s such a lovely film.
